About the Role

Oxford Economics, a leading global economic research and consultancy firm, is seeking a highly skilled Lead Economist to join its consulting directorate. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality economic analysis and consultancy projects to clients worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement robust economic models and analysis to support consultancy projects.
  • Lead and manage the delivery of projects, including client communication and coordination of internal resources.
  • Produce high-quality reporting assets for clients, including research reports and presentations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop research proposals and project reports.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen the quality of analysis and develop new business opportunities.
Requirements
  • 7-10 years of experience working as a professional economist, with a strong understanding of economic theory and its application.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including knowledge of advanced functions and experience in formula auditing.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex economic concepts to non-specialists.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing rigorous, accurate work within time and resource constraints.
