Job Title: Retail Merchandiser

Job Summary:

Elevation Recruitment Group is seeking a skilled Retail Merchandiser to join our esteemed client in Bradford. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing key Merchandising KPIs across planning, trading, and forecasting. This is a customer-facing role that requires strong analytical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sales plans, customer budgets, and SKU-level decision-making activities

• Evaluate financial factors, including assumptions and contingency plans

• Forecast sales across all elements, including total business, account, caption, and line level

• Allocate stock requirements to deliver the customer plan while minimizing stock exposure

• Analyze top-line trading data for forward planning and identifying risks and opportunities

• Facilitate the optimum range selection process through analysis and insights

• Develop strong cross-functional relationships to ensure effective and profitable interventions

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a merchandising role or similar role within a retail or FMCG business

• Experience using Tableau would be a significant advantage

• Excellent Excel, numeric, and analytical abilities to identify commercial insights

• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to adjust your approach to varying audiences

• Ability to build strong relationships and work with others to achieve shared objectives

• Commercial acumen, with a focus on profit growth and decision-making

• Organized with a keen eye for detail, with experience in planning and forecasting sales across everyday and seasonal periods
