Job Title: Retail Merchandiser

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Retail Merchandiser to join our esteemed client based in Bradford. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing all key Merchandising KPI's across planning, trading, and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies to drive sales and profitability.
  • Collaborate with customers, supply chain, and product teams to ensure seamless delivery of product to store.
  • Manage stock allocation requirements to deliver customer plans while minimizing stock exposure.
  • Analyze financial factors, including assumptions and contingency plans, to inform merchandising decisions.
  • Forecast sales across all elements, including total business, account, caption, and line level.
  • Facilitate the optimum range selection process through analysis and insights.
  • Develop strong cross-functional relationships to ensure effective and profitable interventions.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a merchandising role or similar role within a retail/FMCG business.
  • Experience using Tableau would be a significant advantage.
  • Excellent Excel, numeric, and analytical abilities to identify commercial insights.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to adjust approach to varying audiences.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively with others to achieve shared objectives.
  • Commercial acumen, with a focus on profit growth and decision-making.
  • Organized with a keen eye for detail, with experience in planning and forecasting sales.
