About the Role

As a Merchandiser, you will manage key Merchandising KPIs across planning, trading, and forecasting. You will work closely with customers, supply chain, product, and range teams to ensure seamless delivery of product to store when needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Account planning, including sales plans, customer budget, and SKU-level decision-making activities
  • Evaluating financial factors, including assumptions and suitable contingency plans
  • Forecasting across all elements, whether total business, account, caption, or line level
  • Top-line trading analysis for forward planning and identifying risks and opportunities
  • Facilitating the optimum range selection process through analysis and insights
  • Driving efficiencies, improved ways of working, and increased profit across customer accounts
Requirements

We are looking for a confident communicator with excellent Excel, numeric, and analytical abilities to identify commercial insights relevant to the audience. Previous experience in a merchandising role or similar role within a retail/FMCG business is essential. Experience using Tableau would be a significant advantage.
