The Opportunity

As a Housekeeping Team Member, you will be vital in maintaining a pristine and welcoming environment for our guests. Your responsibilities will include the thorough cleaning and upkeep of all guest areas, such as guest rooms, communal spaces, linen storage, and supply cupboards, ensuring that our service standards remain exceptional.

Your duties will encompass servicing hotel accommodations and public areas according to company standards and within designated time frames. You will be well-versed in the established cleaning protocols and presentation expectations for all room types, promptly reporting any damages or issues to facilitate timely repairs.

Additionally, you will be tasked with returning all cleaning equipment to their designated storage areas at the end of each shift, ensuring that both storage and workspaces are kept orderly and hygienic.

Ideal Candidate

  • Possesses prior experience in a similar role, understanding the significance of meticulous attention to detail in housekeeping.
  • Demonstrates a passion for delivering outstanding customer service and takes pride in ensuring clean and well-maintained guest accommodations and public areas.
  • Exhibits reliability, punctuality, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Has excellent time management skills, capable of prioritizing tasks to ensure all areas are maintained to a high standard within the allotted time.
  • Is physically capable of meeting the job's demands, including lifting and moving heavy items, standing for long periods, and thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possesses strong communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration with other departments to ensure seamless hotel operations.
  • Maintains a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and acquire new skills.
  • Is knowledgeable about health and safety regulations and understands the proper use of cleaning tools and chemicals.
  • Has a keen eye for detail, able to identify areas needing extra attention, such as stains or damaged items.
