2nd Line IT Support Engineer

We are seeking an experienced 2nd Line IT Support Engineer to join our growing team and provide exceptional technical support to our expanding customer base.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide efficient remote and onsite support services to clients across the UK
  • Work closely with the IT Support Manager to ensure seamless delivery of technical services
  • Perform regular network and Active Directory management tasks
  • Report, update, and track incidents using our service desk system
  • Ensure customers are kept informed at all times
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in providing 1st/2nd Line IT support, preferably in a helpdesk or MSP environment
  • Technical knowledge of Microsoft Windows, including desktop and server operating systems
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Able to work independently and under pressure
  • Self-motivated and good time management skills
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing environment
  • Ability to provide root cause analysis and technical documentation
  • Professional working attitude and strong technical skills
Desirable Skills:
  • Knowledge of Windows 7 and 10, Microsoft Office 2010+, MacOS X, Windows Server 2016/2019, AD Administration, Microsoft Exchange Server 2010-2016, Office 365, and networking technologies
