About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Merco Medical Staffing Limited. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting our patients to engage in self-care, productive, and recreational activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply OT interventions 1-to-1 with patients and lead group work sessions
  • Support patients to identify and achieve their occupational goals
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Monitor and record patients' progress, reporting any concerns to senior staff
  • Ensure accurate and timely updating of clinical records and computerized information systems
Requirements
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy (MSc pre-registration or BSc)
  • Registration with HCPC
  • Experience in mental health or a similar role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
