Senior Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Clinical Psychologist to join our team as a Clinical Lead for Adult Autism Services. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a specialist service and contribute to the strategic development and transformation of our autism services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and supervision to a team of psychologists and other mental health professionals.
- Develop and implement high standards of clinical care, ensuring the service is needs-led, compliant with national guidance, and viewed positively by service users.
- Contribute to the strategic development and transformation of Specialist Adult Autism services in NELFT, including improving integration within Mental Health and Wellness teams and across primary and secondary care.
- Deputise for the Lead of Psychological Professionals, including leadership, line management, and service development.
- Carry a small clinical caseload.
- Post-graduate qualification in clinical or counselling psychology.
- Professional registration with the appropriate body (HCPC) as Practitioner Psychologist.
- A thorough knowledge of evidence-based clinical practice and a commitment to keeping abreast of new evidence-based practice developments in psychology and those specific to this population.
- Experience of working with high levels of risk and severe mental health difficulties.
- Well-developed skills in the ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
- Skills in providing consultation to other professionals and non-professionals.
