Are you passionate about data and risk analysis? Statera Talent is looking for a talented Credit Risk Analyst to enhance the credit risk management strategies of our client, a prominent financial institution. This role is centered on leveraging data insights to improve risk frameworks.

Position Overview:

As a Credit Risk Analyst, you will play a vital role in supporting and refining the frameworks for credit and financial risk management. Collaborating with various departments, you will identify, evaluate, and quantify risks, ensuring compliance and robustness in our processes.

Key Duties:

  • Analysis and Reporting: Perform comprehensive analysis of credit risk portfolios, utilizing diverse data sets to pinpoint emerging risks. Develop and enhance management information (MI) and analytical reporting tools to deepen our understanding of trends.
  • Data Integration: Elevate credit risk capabilities by integrating new data sources into risk management practices. Employ external market data to benchmark performance and guide analysis and recommendations.
  • Tool Development: Work in conjunction with IT and other departments to design and automate tools for Risk Projects, ensuring both efficiency and precision.
  • Framework Development: Assist in the creation and upkeep of robust risk management frameworks, policies, and reporting routines, effectively presenting data and insights to stakeholders.

Essential Skills:

  • Data Proficiency: Demonstrated experience in analyzing diverse data sets, producing insightful analyses that influence decision-making.
  • Excel Expertise: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and VBA for managing and analyzing complex data sets.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities to convey data and insights clearly to various stakeholders.
  • Professional Experience: Several years of experience in risk management or data analysis roles, with a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Economics).
  • Technical Acumen: Familiarity with credit risk in a financial services context.
