Position Overview:

As a Credit Risk Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting and refining credit and financial risk management strategies. Collaborating with various departments, you will identify, evaluate, and quantify risks, ensuring that our methodologies are robust and adhere to compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Perform comprehensive analyses of credit risk portfolio performance using a variety of data sources to pinpoint emerging risks. Develop and enhance management information (MI) and analytical reporting tools to better understand current trends.
  • Data Integration: Improve credit risk capabilities by integrating new data sources into risk oversight processes. Leverage external market data to benchmark performance and inform analysis and recommendations.
  • Tool Development and Automation: Work alongside IT and other departments to design and automate tools for Risk Projects, ensuring both efficiency and accuracy.
  • Risk Management Frameworks: Assist in the development and upkeep of comprehensive risk management frameworks, policies, and regular reporting routines, effectively presenting data and insights to stakeholders.

Core Competencies:

  • Data Expertise: Demonstrated experience in working with and analyzing diverse data sets, producing insightful analyses that drive informed decision-making.
  • Excel Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and VBA for managing and analyzing complex data sets.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to clearly present data and insights to various stakeholders.
  • Experience: Several years of experience in risk management or data analysis roles, holding a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Economics).
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with credit risk in a financial services context.
