About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Risk Analyst to join our team at Barclays, where you will play a key role in shaping the future of our digital landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage client relationships to identify financial goals, challenges, and risk tolerance.
  • Research and understand industry trends, regulatory landscape, and competitive environment to inform strategic recommendations.
  • Design customised solutions that address client needs and objectives.
  • Communicate value proposition of proposed solutions and negotiate terms.
  • Provide guidance to clients on financial decisions, risk management, and wealth management strategies.
  • Assess financial, legal, and operational risks associated with client relationships.
  • Document client interactions, transactions, and agreements to ensure transparency and auditability.
  • Monitor client satisfaction, revenue generated, and other relevant metrics.
  • Identify ways to mitigate risk and develop new policies/procedures.
  • Take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a related Financial Services discipline.
  • Risk domain knowledge and understanding – PD, LGD, Credit Risk & IFRS9.
  • Experience working on Regulatory projects.
  • Delivering projects using Agile methodology, working with SQL Queries and Data Models.
  • Experience in BA activities including Impact/Data analysis and delivering comprehensive reports and presentations.
