Audit Manager

TPF Recruitment is currently supporting a reputable chartered accountancy practice in Tonbridge, Kent, who are seeking an experienced Audit & Accounts Manager on a permanent, full-time, or part-time basis.

The role offers a flexible audit and accounts workload that can be tailored to the candidate's experience and aspirations.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver audit and accounts assignments
- Lead complex assignments and review statutory accounts preparation and corporate tax computations
- Supervise junior staff and delegate work effectively
- Deliver audit files to partners in a timely manner
- Identify cross-selling opportunities and potential management letter points
- Manage client communication and monitor chargeability and assignment budgets
- Coach staff for improved performance and technical development
- Mentor audit and accounts trainees and contribute to the training and development program
- ACA or ACCA qualified with post-qualification experience or qualified by experience
- Ability to apply audit standards through practical application
- Knowledge of UK GAAP and practical experience of preparing group accounts
- Knowledge of IFRS is desirable but not essential
- Experience of not-for-profit clients and corporate clients is advantageous but not essential
- A highly competitive salary of circa £48,000 - £58,000 dependent on experience, background, and qualifications
