We are seeking an experienced Audit and Accounts Manager to join our team at TPF Recruitment. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, overseeing audit and accounts assignments, and leading a team of junior staff.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver audit and accounts assignments to meet client needs and expectations
- Lead large and complex assignments, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results
- Review statutory accounts preparation and corporate tax computations, identifying areas for improvement
- Supervise junior staff during audits and reviews, providing guidance and support as needed
- Deliver audit files to partners in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Identify cross-selling opportunities and potential management letter points, enhancing client relationships and revenue growth
- Manage client communication effectively, ensuring clear and timely updates on audit and accounts progress
- Monitor chargeability and assignment budgets proactively, optimizing resource allocation and cost management
- Coach and develop junior staff, enhancing their performance and technical skills
- Maintain specialist sector knowledge and stay up-to-date with industry developments, ensuring expertise and relevance in the field
- ACA or ACCA qualified, with post-qualification experience or qualified by experience
- Ability to apply audit standards through practical application, ensuring compliance and quality
- Knowledge of UK GAAP, with practical experience in preparing group accounts
- Practical knowledge of IFRS, with experience in both not-for-profit and corporate clients
