We are seeking an experienced Audit and Accounts Manager to join our team at TPF Recruitment. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, overseeing audit and accounts assignments, and leading a team of junior staff.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver audit and accounts assignments, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
- Lead large and complex assignments, utilizing your expertise and experience to drive success.
- Review statutory accounts preparation and corporate tax computations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
- Supervise junior staff during audits, providing guidance and support to ensure their development and growth.
- Deliver the audit file to partners in a timely manner, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities and potential management letter points, driving business growth and revenue.
- Manage client communication effectively, building strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Monitor chargeability and assignment budgets proactively, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Coach other staff for improved performance and technical development, fostering a culture of excellence.
- Develop specialist sector knowledge and stay up-to-date with industry developments, ensuring our team remains at the forefront of accounting and audit best practices.
- ACA or ACCA qualified with post-qualification experience or qualified by experience.
- Ability to apply audit standards through practical application, ensuring compliance and quality.
- Knowledge of UK GAAP, with practical experience in the preparation of group accounts.
- Practical knowledge of IFRS, with experience of both not-for-profit clients and corporate clients.
