About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Audit and Accounts Manager to join our team at TPF Recruitment. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, overseeing audit and accounts assignments, and providing expert guidance to junior staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver audit and accounts assignments to meet client needs and expectations
  • Lead large and complex assignments, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results
  • Review statutory accounts preparation and corporate tax computations, identifying areas for improvement
  • Supervise junior staff during audits, providing coaching and guidance to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Deliver audit files to partners in a timely manner, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities and potential management letter points, driving business growth and development
  • Manage client communication effectively, building strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction
  • Monitor chargeability and assignment budgets proactively, ensuring efficient use of resources
  • Coach other staff for improved performance and technical development, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning
  • Mentor audit and accounts trainees, contributing to the training and development program
Requirements
  • ACA or ACCA qualified with post-qualification experience or qualified by experience
  • Ability to apply audit standards through practical application
  • Knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
  • Practical knowledge of the preparation of group accounts
  • Experience of both not-for-profit clients and corporate clients
