Job Title: Front of House Team Assistant

Location: Tadcaster

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the front-of-house Lead in maintaining high standards of staff performance and customer service.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to update, provide feedback, and mentor new FOH staff.
  • Ensure prompt, courteous, and quality service to customers, handling complaints effectively.
  • Oversee daily FOH operations, maintain cleanliness and coordinate with kitchen staff for seamless service.
  • Collaborate with the event planning team to execute successful events, supervise staff during events.
  • Manage inventory of FOH supplies, place orders, and implement policies and procedures.
  • Foster a positive working environment, encourage teamwork, and collaborate with other departments.
Requirements
  • 2-4 years of front-of-house experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Demonstrated expertise in customer service and team management.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in POS systems, knowledge of health and safety regulations in hospitality.
Education and Certifications
  • First aid and CPR certification is advantageous.
  • Personal License Holder is a plus.
  • Leadership or management training certification is beneficial.
