Job Title: Food and Beverage Assistant

Cycas Hospitality is a dynamic and innovative hotel management company that is committed to delivering exceptional hospitality experiences. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team at Four Points by Sheraton, Edinburgh Haymarket.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the highest standards of food and beverage and hospitality are demonstrated at all times. This will involve assisting with the preparation of food and beverage outlets for service, maintaining good food safety and hygiene standards, and providing exceptional customer service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the preparation of food and beverage outlets for service, including cleaning and maintaining equipment, glassware, and china.
  • Maintain good food safety and hygiene standards, and ensure that all food and beverage products are stored and handled correctly.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our guests, including serving beverages, taking orders, and handling customer complaints.
  • Assist with the ordering and storage of food and beverage products, and maintain accurate records of stock levels.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve business goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • 2 years previous experience of a similar role within a hotel environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and to take initiative when necessary.
  • Customer focus and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
