Job Title: Food and Beverage Assistant

Cycas Hospitality is a dynamic and innovative hotel management company that is committed to delivering exceptional hospitality experiences. We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team at Four Points by Sheraton, Edinburgh Haymarket.

Job Summary:

The Food and Beverage Assistant will be responsible for ensuring that the highest standards of food and beverage service are maintained at all times. This includes assisting with the preparation of food and beverage outlets for service, maintaining good food safety and hygiene standards, and providing exceptional customer service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the preparation of food and beverage outlets for service, including cleaning and maintaining equipment, glassware, and china.
  • Maintain good food safety and hygiene standards, including adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our guests, including taking orders, serving beverages, and handling guest complaints.
  • Assist with the storage and ordering of goods, including food, beverages, and supplies.
  • Participate in daily briefings and meetings to ensure that all team members are aware of their responsibilities and any changes to the service.
  • Perform other tasks as directed by the line manager to ensure the smooth operation of the food and beverage service.
Requirements:
  • 2 years previous experience of a similar role within a hotel environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work as part of a diverse team and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
