Job Title: Customer Help Desk Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Help Desk Consultant to join our team at NielsenIQ. As a key member of our Book Operations team, you will play a critical role in supporting our international Commercial teams by monitoring, supporting, and testing the systems used to supply our clients with data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain close and positive working relationships with publishers, distributors, and other data providers to ensure timely information and meet all appropriate service level requirements.
  • Handle publisher enquiries through the Publisher Help Desk and advise on the most appropriate method of supplying information.
  • Set up and register new users for our online publisher service portal.
  • Assist users of the online portal with how to register and maintain their product information and provide guidance on how it appears externally.
  • Support a territory through the chart mismatch process.
  • Support systems by following correct procedures following system failures or data errors.
  • Support a key retailer through the cataloguing and validation of information.
Requirements:
  • Availability to cover the help desk between Monday-Friday 8am-5pm; to answer the phone and to respond to incoming emails within 1/2 business day.
  • Occasional weekend and evening work by arrangement.
  • Occasional travel to clients and other NielsenIQ offices.
  • In-depth understanding of the publishing industry and book trade is desirable.
  • Database experience and a solid proficiency in data analysis and testing is desirable.
