Area Sales Engineer

Sulzer is a leading engineering company with a proud heritage of innovation. We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Engineer to join our team in the Midlands region.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong connections with existing and potential clients, understanding their unique challenges and collaborating to create bespoke solutions.
  • Carry out in-depth research within the region to uncover new sales leads, providing insightful market feedback to enhance Sulzer's offerings.
  • Offer support and guidance to customers, showcasing Sulzer's innovative products and services to address complex engineering problems.
  • Pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
Requirements:
  • A proven track record in technical sales with a deep understanding of the sales process.
  • Extensive knowledge of rotating machinery, including pumps, gearboxes, compressors, motors, generators, and transformers.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A self-motivated, results-driven approach with a proactive problem-solving mindset.
  • Located in the Midlands region, with a Full UK Driver's Licence and willingness to travel within the assigned area.
