The Role

As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, you will deliver specialized musculoskeletal physiotherapy services to patients in a secure environment. Your responsibilities will include managing an independent clinical caseload, providing assessments and treatments primarily within the health center, while also engaging with patients in various accommodation settings.

Collaboration with Physical Training Instructors in the facility's gym will be essential, ensuring a comprehensive approach to patient care. You will work alongside various healthcare professionals, including General Practitioners, Psychology experts, and Nursing Staff, fostering a cohesive healthcare environment.

Key Requirements
  • Registered Physiotherapist with current HCPC Registration
  • Degree Level education or equivalent experience
  • Postgraduate expertise in a relevant specialty, demonstrating the necessary breadth of knowledge
  • Thorough understanding of clinical guidelines and standards within the specialty
  • Specialized knowledge and experience related to relevant conditions and procedures
  • Strong leadership skills for effective service delivery management
  • Evidence of Continuous Professional Development in the specialty area
  • Excellent teamwork and leadership abilities, with a proactive approach
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Effective time management capabilities
  • Basic IT proficiency
  • Valid UK/EU/EEA driving license
Desirable Qualifications
  • Membership in the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP)
  • Engagement in relevant special interest groups
  • Experience in multidisciplinary collaboration
  • Involvement in research and audit activities
  • Interest or experience in specialized areas as outlined in the role profile

Note for International Applicants: Registration as a Physiotherapist with a valid Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration is essential for consideration.

Contract Type

This position is permanent and part-time, requiring a commitment of 12 hours per week.
