Role Overview

This role is part of the Payroll team, responsible for accounting and reporting of compensation components within the EMEA Finance team at TP ICAP.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage the monthly end-to-end Compensation journal process, including accounting for monthly payroll, taxes, and benefits, as well as various types of bonus accruals.
  2. Assist business partners in reviewing compensation accruals and action relevant accounting bookings.
  3. Ensure all processes are fully documented and reviewed.
  4. Prepare Balance sheet reconciliations and ensure reconciliation of all balances back to relevant calculations and records.
  5. Provide analysis to support cash flow forecasting projections.
  6. Support the preparation of annual Budgets and Forecasts for P&L and BS.
  7. Assist in the delivery of the annual statutory accounts for the Group and EMEA controlled entities.
  8. Embed an effective risk and control framework to support our processes.
  9. Handle compensation-related queries during the year-end audit process.
  10. Build and maintain professional relationships with the EMEA Finance Team and other key stakeholders.
  11. Assist with monthly Payroll tasks, including uploading data to Payroll software and running monthly reports.
Requirements

Essential:

  • Part Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or Accounts Technician qualification.
  • Previous experience in a similar environment.
  • Experience in delivering new reporting requirements and process change.
  • Experience with Oracle Financials and Workday preferred.
  • Skilled in Microsoft applications software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
  • Understanding of accounting principles, GAAP, and IFRS.
  • Knowledge of what a good control environment looks like.
