About the Role:

  • As a Reservations Supervisor, you will demonstrate your managerial or supervisory skills effectively.
  • You will oversee, delegate, and support all reservation and event sales activities on a daily basis.
  • Your goal will be to maximize revenue opportunities for the department.
  • You will analyze business plans, identify gaps, and proactively work to fill capacity and meet targets.
  • Contributing to the hotel's selling strategy and ensuring adherence to it will be key to your role.
  • You will stay informed about the competitive landscape and implement strategies to maintain our market position.
  • Conducting weekly reviews of bookings will be part of your responsibilities.
  • Fostering a culture of high standards in customer service, sales techniques, and contract processing will be essential.
  • You will manage and develop your team, ensuring career progression and effective succession planning.
  • Organizing promotional activities for the hotel will also be part of your duties.
  • Strong leadership skills will be necessary to motivate and coach your team towards achieving high performance and exceeding targets.
  • Analytical skills will help you understand key business indicators and competitive trends, allowing you to address challenges effectively.
  • The ideal Reservations Supervisor will be meticulous, organized, and possess excellent planning abilities.
  • Familiarity with hotel property management systems is required.
