Advanced Clinical Lead Pharmacist – Specialised Medicine Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced pharmacist to lead our clinical pharmacy service in the Specialised Medicine Directorate. The successful candidate will have a strong background in gastroenterology and respiratory medicine, with experience in leading a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of clinical pharmacy services in gastroenterology and respiratory medicine.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and reduce healthcare costs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including clinicians, managers, and patients.
- Contribute to the development of pharmacy policy and procedures.
- Provide education and training to pharmacy staff and other healthcare professionals.
- Master's degree in pharmacy or equivalent.
- Registered pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
- Postgraduate clinical pharmacy diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing professional development.
- Membership of relevant professional organizations.
- Experience in leading a team and managing budgets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
