Join Our Aviation Airfield Division

As our new Senior Civil Engineer, you will be integrated into our specialized airfield civil engineering team, consisting of five seasoned airfield engineers. While our core team operates from Chester, we offer flexibility in location for the right candidate. With a robust future pipeline of projects for both civil and military clients, we are eager to expand our team. This role demands an inquisitive mindset, capable of devising innovative and sustainable solutions to meet our clients' needs. Opportunities for travel, both domestically and internationally, may arise.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Project Management
  • Civil design across all RIBA stages for both traditional and design-and-build procurement
  • Overseeing project costs and budgets
  • Identifying and managing project risks and opportunities
  • Mentoring and developing junior staff

  • Extensive experience in delivering civil engineering services across all RIBA work stages
  • In-depth experience in conducting technical and feasibility studies, including site investigations
  • Proven track record in designing new civil infrastructure
  • Experience in reviewing, assessing, and designing modifications to existing civil infrastructure
  • Chartered engineer status or actively pursuing chartership
  • Extensive experience in civil design compliant with Eurocode and UK Building Regulations
  • Understanding of Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015, including the Principal Designer role
