About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our Infrastructure team at Walsh - Structural, Civil & Geotechnical Engineers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the design input on civil engineering designs for roads, drainage, and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the design input on civil engineering designs for roads, drainage, and infrastructure projects
  • Work on a variety of projects, including those with a value of up to £50M
  • Lead on infrastructure matters and work alongside project associates and directors on larger projects
  • Liaise and coordinate with other members of the Walsh team and external consultants
  • Attend regular coordination workshops and meetings

Requirements:

  • Experience designing development infrastructure, particularly drainage
  • Experience on residential projects, particularly inner city developments
  • Good technical background and grounding in the design of drainage, pavement design, and roads
  • Experience with computer packages such as XP Microdrainage/Windes, Civils 3D, Autodesk Infraworks, Navisworks, NBS Create, and BREEAM/CfSH
