About the Role

As a Commis Chef, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of dishes, maintaining high standards of food safety and presentation, and working collaboratively with our culinary team to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of dishes in a timely and efficient manner
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and presentation
  • Work collaboratively with the culinary team to deliver exceptional dining experiences
  • Perform other kitchen duties as assigned

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Trade qualifications and relevant experience in a similar role in a hotel environment
  • A genuine passion for food and high standards of production and presentation
  • A working understanding of and the ability to maintain food safety standards and HACCP
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Impeccable grooming and presentation
  • The capacity to multitask, cope well under pressure, and meet tight deadlines
