We Are Seeking:

Experienced Water Utility Specialists to join our expanding teams in Hampshire, Southwest London, and Surrey. We are looking for individuals or teams with expertise in various areas, including major project main layers, mains renewals gangs, service layers, metering, repair & maintenance.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe working environment by conducting regular safety checks on vehicles, plant, equipment, and sites. Report any accidents, near misses, faults, damages, or defects promptly.
  • Adhere to health and hygiene regulations, ensuring work is carried out with environmental responsibility.
  • Utilize safe digging methods to excavate holes, minimizing the risk of damage to underground utility apparatus.
  • Handle materials, plant, and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Install water infrastructure to industry standards, ensuring proper jointing and hygiene practices.
  • Operate company vehicles responsibly, adhering to road traffic regulations and prioritizing the safety of other road users.
  • Maintain site tidiness and security, ensuring plant, vehicle, and equipment are properly stored and secured.
  • Install and maintain road works according to 'Chapter 8' standards.
  • Provide assistance and information to the public, clients' representatives, and officials regarding company business.
  • Carry out any other reasonable instructions provided by management or supervision.

Experience/Qualifications:

  • NCO / NVQ Qualification
  • SHEA Water Qualification (Desirable)
  • EUSR Qualification (hygiene Card)
  • Proven experience working in the Water Industry
  • Right to work and live in the UK
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • NRSWA Streetworks Qualification
  • Machine Excavator Operation
  • Dumper Qualification (Desirable)
  • CSCS Card (or equivalent) (Desirable)
  • Deep Excavation Training (Desirable)
  • Confined Spaces Training (Desirable)
