Procurement Manager

GPW Recruitment Services is partnering with a specialist manufacturer in Bolton to recruit a Purchasing Manager on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement the purchasing strategy, incorporating best commercial practice and adhering to agreed spending controls.
- Lead and manage the Purchasing Team, setting and monitoring individual targets, and overseeing the management of suppliers, relationships, and service level agreements.
- Effectively liaise with other Departments to forecast, plan, and deliver demand in relevant quality and quantities in required timeframe.
- Negotiate, administer, and control purchasing contracts, and make or buy policy analysis and presentation of clear recommendations to the Managing Director.
- Administer and report on routing management information on purchasing performance, and keep up-to-date with international trading issues, imports, and legal awareness.
- 24 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays
- Auto-enrolment pension scheme after qualifying period
