Procurement Category Manager

SD Worx, a leading European provider of Payroll & HR services, is seeking a skilled Procurement Category Manager to join our team for a 12-month period. This role will be based in either the UK or Spain and will cover a maternity leave.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement procurement strategies for goods and services across multiple business units and supporting areas.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to maximize Total Cost of Ownership savings and Procurement's value contribution.
- Manage key suppliers to maximize their value delivery and minimize exposure for the company.
- Ensure compliance with policies, strategies, and processes.
- Contribute to the development and professionalization of the procurement organization and processes.
- Master's degree in a relevant field or 5 years of experience in a similar function.
- Proven experience in category management and supplier management.
- Knowledge of purchasing tools and methodologies.
- Strategic mindset, strong analytical skills, and data orientation.
- Excellent English-written and spoken communication skills.
