We are seeking a skilled Procurement Category Manager to join our Indirect Procurement team. As a key member of our central Procurement Team, you will work closely with other functions to develop and deliver category plans for indirect services, focusing on IT, services, and materials that drive value in pricing, quality, service, and cost objectives while reducing supplier risk.

**The Role:**

As an Indirect Procurement Category Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing category strategies to drive value and reduce costs
  • Working closely with other functions to develop and deliver category plans
  • Managing supplier relationships and contracts to ensure compliance and value
  • Analyzing data to inform procurement decisions and drive business outcomes
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and transformation

**Essential Ingredients:**

  • A broad range of procurement experience as a Buyer/Category Manager (an IT bias would be an advantage)
  • Developing and implementing category strategies
  • Adaptable style in changing environments, new categories, and challenges
  • Project Management experience
  • Proven track record of developing stakeholder relationships and cross-functional working
  • Experience of Supplier Relationship and Contract Management
  • Strong Analytical skills
