About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team at Department. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for driving sales, building client relationships, and meeting sales targets within our workspace solutions.

This is a contract role for a 12-month term, and you will be based on-site in Manchester with occasional travel to Leeds required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and occupancy levels
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure renewal and upsell opportunities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive lead generation and networking
  • Work closely with industry agents and brokers to maximize brand exposure and reach
  • Conduct market research to identify potential target industries and clients
  • Attend industry events and conferences to establish our brand and network with potential clients
  • Provide sales forecasts and analysis to senior management
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve business performance across all sales functions
Requirements
  • Proven track record of success in a fast-paced sales environment with a strong background in sales, marketing, and negotiation
  • Excellent written, verbal, and face-to-face communication skills
  • Ability to manage priorities, plan workload, and meet deadlines
  • Advanced use of Excel for reporting and tracking, as well as proficiency in CRM software
  • Self-motivated and target-driven with a genuine drive to succeed
  • Ability to work in a pressurized environment and manage challenges
  • Ability to identify challenges and plan to overcome
  • Ability to meet deadlines within a timescale
