Verelogic is seeking a Technology Support Specialist who possesses a strong affinity for technology combined with a commitment to delivering outstanding service to our clients.
In this role, you will oversee the management of all IT equipment and services across various educational institutions, while also assisting in enhancing the quality of their technology offerings to facilitate effective teaching and learning through innovative IT solutions.
You will act as a liaison between the educational institutions and Verelogic, ensuring they are informed about the range of services available and managing client accounts effectively.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in maintaining computer systems, installing both new and existing software across networks, providing user support, and troubleshooting technical issues. A solid understanding of common software applications and substantial experience with Microsoft Office365 is essential.
Candidates should ideally possess a minimum of two years' experience in a similar role, preferably within the educational sector, although this is not a strict requirement.
A passion for technology, a robust technical foundation, self-motivation, and a dedication to exceptional customer service are key attributes for success in this position.
You should be capable of working autonomously, demonstrating problem-solving skills, and proactively seeking opportunities to enhance the services provided by your team.
Responsibilities include the installation or repair of computers with standardized applications and networking software, as well as diagnosing and resolving operational issues.
You will respond to a diverse range of technical tasks related to the computer network and desktop services, primarily focusing on existing installations and their upgrades.
