Automotive Electronics and Functional Safety Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Electronics and Functional Safety Specialist to join our dynamic team at Wipac Technology Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and validation of electronic systems in compliance with ISO 26262 standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop automotive electronic systems, ensuring compliance with ISO 26262 standards.
- Conduct safety analysis, including FMEA, FTA, FMEDA.
- Develop and maintain safety plans, safety cases, and safety requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of functional safety requirements into the overall system design.
- Plan and perform verification and validation activities, including safety testing and reviews.
- Create and support the development of safety-related documentation and reports.
- Provide technical guidance and support to other team members on functional safety and electronic systems.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in automotive electronics and functional safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Experience:
- Familiarity with embedded systems and software development.
- Proven experience in automotive electronic systems design and development.
- In-depth knowledge of ISO 26262 and functional safety processes.
- Proficiency in safety analysis techniques such as HARA, FMEA, and FTA.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN).
- Good understanding of hardware electronics at the component level.
- Strong understanding of automotive standards and regulations.
- Experience with safety-related tools and software.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Awareness of cybersecurity ISO/SAE21434.
