Business Intelligence Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team at Affinity Water. As a key member of our data-driven organization, you will play a crucial role in driving business decisions through data analysis and insights.
Key Responsibilities- Data Analysis: Transform complex data into actionable insights, enabling us to innovate and optimize performance.
- Business Requirements: Understand business needs to identify data sources and support extract and transform activities.
- Data Quality: Clean and reprocess data to ensure readiness for analysis.
- Exploratory Data Analysis: Perform analysis to understand trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Data Visualization: Create data visualizations and storytelling to represent data findings clearly and effectively.
- Collaboration: Work with Data Governance Lead, business stakeholders, and other roles to build data management, data governance, and data quality assurance.
- Insights and Designs: Provide insights and designs for Data Engineers and Performance Insight Analysts.
- Ad-hoc Analysis: Undertake ad-hoc data analysis to support business decisions.
- Technical Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of SQL, proficiency in tools such as SQL, Python, and R for data manipulation and analysis.
- Business Acumen: Strong understanding of UI/UX design concepts, working understanding of Data Protection 2018 requirements.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, flexible and a team player, self-motivated with a positive approach.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and experience in prioritizing work to meet project deadlines.
- Competitive Salary: Circa £50-60,000 dependant on experience.
