Overview:
BakerHicks, a part of the Morgan Sindall Group, has a strong legacy of collaborating with clients on significant nuclear licensed sites across the UK, focusing on the design of extensive process and treatment facilities for the secure management of legacy nuclear materials.

Role Summary:
In this role, you will engage directly with one of our primary clients in the Nuclear sector. You should possess a solid background in civil, structural, and architectural engineering. Your responsibilities will include providing technical leadership, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, and promoting a culture of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support projects related to Civil, Structural & Architectural engineering, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Offer technical expertise and guidance on civil, structural, and architectural engineering matters.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to devise and implement effective engineering solutions.
  • Conduct assessments and audits to guarantee compliance with safety and quality benchmarks.
  • Develop and review engineering designs, specifications, and documentation.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in CS&A engineering.
  • Encourage a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
Qualifications & Experience Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in CS&A engineering.
  • Professional engineering license (PE) is preferred.
  • Experience with critical infrastructure projects is a plus.
