Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be involved in the planning, scheduling, and coordination of urban drainage initiatives, ensuring that delivery excellence, technical governance, and best practices are consistently maintained. You will also contribute to the development and mentorship of junior modellers within the team, while assisting with cost estimations and bid submissions.

You will collaborate within an interdisciplinary team comprising 110 professionals from Stantec, across 13 UK offices and a team in Pune, alongside our clients and consultant/contractor partners, working together to execute projects throughout the UK & Ireland. This presents a remarkable opportunity to be part of a dynamic and innovative group of engineers, engaged in a specialized modelling framework while contributing to industry-leading projects.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess a degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or a related field and be a member of a relevant professional institution such as ICE or CIWEM. You should have substantial experience leading projects in an urban drainage context, showcasing technical expertise across a broad spectrum of urban drainage modelling tasks, along with comprehensive knowledge of InfoWorks ICM.

The successful applicant will have experience in staff management and development, demonstrating the ability to integrate seamlessly into a team while providing technical guidance to other modelling professionals, all while maintaining a strong client service orientation.
