Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be involved in the planning, scheduling, and coordination of urban drainage initiatives, ensuring excellence in delivery, adherence to technical standards, and the implementation of best practices. Additionally, you will assist in mentoring and managing junior modellers within the team, as well as supporting cost estimations and bid submissions.
You will collaborate within an interdisciplinary team comprising 110 professionals from Stantec, across 13 UK offices and a team in Pune, alongside our clients and consultant/contractor partners, working together to execute projects throughout the UK & Ireland. This role presents an excellent opportunity to engage with an ambitious and innovative group of engineers, focusing on a specialized modelling framework while contributing to industry-leading projects.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess a degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or a related field and be a member of a relevant professional institution, such as ICE or CIWEM. You should have prior experience leading projects in an urban drainage context, demonstrating technical expertise across a variety of urban drainage modelling tasks and a comprehensive understanding of InfoWorks ICM.
The successful applicant will have experience in staff management and development, with the ability to integrate seamlessly into a team and provide technical guidance to other modelling professionals, maintaining a strong client service focus.
