Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and troubleshoot software solutions with the ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build innovative solutions or break down complex technical problems.
  • Create secure and high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems.
  • Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development.

  • Proactively identify hidden problems and patterns in data and use these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture.

Requirements
  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and applied experience.
  • Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Proficient in coding in one or more languages.
  • Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages.
  • Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Applicant Resiliency, and Security.
  • Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Spring Data JPA.
  • REST or RPC, microservice-based architectures.
  • Excellent Core Java versed in Java 11 & 17.
  • SQL/relational data models with experience in Cassandra, Cockroach, and noSQL structure.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with all facets of Payments (e.g. ACH, Wires) as well as FX payments cross border and domestic.
  • AEM (Content Management), Kafka, AMPs, HAProxy, Grafana, Prometheus, Geneos, Kibana, Dynatrace, Jaeger, OpenTelemetry, Zipkin, Sleuth, Splunk, Groovy, Gemfire, Hazelcast, GoldenGate or other replication.
  • Practical cloud-native experience.
