Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our Non-Emergency Patient Transport Service team as a Medical Call Taker. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing essential transportation services to patients across Wales.

The successful candidate will be responsible for processing telephone calls from patients and hospitals, assessing the most appropriate method of transport, and accurately processing requests using our Trust's databases. Excellent communication and active listening skills are essential for this role, as well as the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Main Duties of the Job
  1. Process telephone calls from patients and hospitals, assessing the most appropriate method of transport.
  2. Accurately process requests using our Trust's databases.
  3. Work effectively as part of a team to deliver high-quality patient care.
  4. Provide excellent communication and active listening skills to patients and hospital staff.
