About the Role

NHS Professionals Limited is seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our team as a specialist in pulmonary rehabilitation. As a key member of our Respiratory Care Team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients with complex physical and psychological conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a defined patient caseload and work independently to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions.
  • Perform advanced assessments of outpatients with diverse presentations and complex conditions to provide a diagnosis and deliver individualized treatment programs.
  • Work across the local community to provide specialist services to patients in pulmonary rehabilitation.
  • Lead the Pulmonary Rehabilitation team and work in conjunction with Highly Specialist Therapists and Nurses to deliver a high-quality service.
  • Use evidence-based principles and current best practices to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions.
  • Undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner with freedom to act on own interpretation of data.

Requirements

  • Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent.
  • Experience working with patients with cardiac and pulmonary conditions.
  • Registration with the relevant Registration Body if applicable.
