As a dynamic and supportive team, we offer a wide range of learning opportunities to help you consolidate your skills and develop within your role. You will be supported by qualified physiotherapists of various experience levels from junior physiotherapists to extended scope practitioners. Equally, you will be required to support the team in both clinical and administrative duties. You will be required to write notes and access and use a selection of systems for activities such as ordering of equipment.

Our team is very committed to providing regular in-service training which you are encouraged to participate in building on your learning and development. The MSK physiotherapy service has worked closely with County Durham CCG to commission an integrated MSK service (CD IMS) for County Durham and Durham Dales, Easington & Sedgefield patients (DDES). The CD IMS pathway provides a single point of access to the full spectrum of MSK services from routine physiotherapy to specialist physiotherapy and orthopaedics. ou will have opportunity to be involved with quality improvement projects led by our ESP & FCP clinical interest groups This post based in Sedgefield Community Hospital, and to cover duties at Peterlee Health Centre.

However you may be occasionally required to cover sites in the Durham Dales and Easington region.
