Job Title: Academic Advisor

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of CBRE Safety recording system data.
  • Support the QHSE director in preparing management reports and updates for key stakeholders.
  • Act as a point of contact for management teams and assist with ad-hoc tasks and projects.
  • Conduct incident investigations and prepare reports.
  • Support the audit program on the account.
  • Perform other duties as instructed by the line manager relevant to the team's work output.
  • Liaise closely with site teams and head office to ensure accurate processing of quotations and purchase orders.
  • Promote and maintain CBRE culture throughout teams.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of internal teams and external customers.
Person Specification
  • Hold a NEBOSH General certificate or equivalent.
  • Have a good basic education to GCSE (or equivalent standard), including English and Maths qualifications.
  • Education to A-Level/HNC standard would be beneficial.
  • Be proficient in the use of Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with advanced Excel skills including basic functions and v-lookups.
  • Experience of using SharePoint and Power BI would be beneficial.
  • Have well-developed communication skills to work with Senior Managers, clients, suppliers, and staff of all levels and abilities.
  • Have experience of auditing.
  • Demonstrate a strong sense of customer focus and promote a sense of team spirit and good morale within the office.
  • Be able to work calmly under pressure and against rapidly changing demands and priorities.
