Job Overview

The Richmond and Wandsworth Council is seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as an Education Advisor for Academic Support. As a Link Adviser, you will work closely with local schools to provide high-quality support and challenge to governing body members, enabling them to hold school leaders accountable. This role requires a passion for raising educational standards and a commitment to delivering exceptional support to Wandsworth pupils.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide challenge and support for governing body members to enable them to hold school leaders to account, including providing Headteacher performance management advice when commissioned.
  • Attend termly meetings and training sessions to support the Link Adviser programme and its quality assurance.

Requirements

  • A passion for raising educational standards for all Wandsworth pupils.
  • Ideal experience of Ofsted inspection.
  • Able to provide accessible and flexible physical support in schools as required.
