About the Role:
Acorn by Synergie is on the lookout for a seasoned Operations Manager to join a reputable food production organization. This role is pivotal in ensuring operational excellence within a dynamic environment.

Core Responsibilities:
As the Operations Manager, you will report directly to the Site Director. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Upholding the duties of an Operations Manager in alignment with legal and ethical standards, adhering to company policies regarding Health and Safety, Environmental, and Social responsibilities.
* Providing motivational leadership to foster a high-performance culture, encouraging accountability and a commitment to exceptional operational standards that align with organizational goals and customer expectations.
* Proposing and facilitating CAPEX investment initiatives aimed at enhancing site profitability, ensuring all planning focuses on clear ROI that improves costs, yield, and labor productivity in line with growth strategies.
* Proactively identifying potential issues and ensuring timely resolutions through strong collaborative relationships with customers.
* Cultivating a progressive and accountable team dedicated to continuous improvement.
* Ensuring the Operations team receives necessary development to support the company's commitment to excellence.
* Identifying and minimizing waste across all operations.
* Ensuring product quality meets customer specifications.
* Developing and embedding systems within the operations team to reduce corrective actions from external assessments.
* Managing professional relationships with a focus on retention and growth.
* Overseeing operational personnel structure and succession planning in alignment with long-term objectives.
* Collaborating with the Site Director to enhance visible KPIs, driving operational excellence across productivity, service quality, hygiene, environmental standards, health and safety, cost control, and waste management.

Qualifications and Experience:
* Proven experience in a similar operational role within the Food FMCG sector
* Management experience of teams exceeding 20 individuals across various functions
* Background in Growth Projects
* Strong customer service orientation, with a focus on exceeding expectations
* Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills, capable of analyzing information to reach logical conclusions
* Demonstrated operational excellence with a focus on Continuous Improvement within manufacturing
* Inspirational leadership that communicates clear and motivating direction to the team
* Fair and consistent performance management practices that encourage high standards
* Strong planning and organizational skills, adaptable to changing circumstances while achieving objectives.
