Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety and Environment Manager to join our client, a leading food manufacturing company, in a busy multi-site environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and compliance of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) legislation, policies, standards, and procedures across the organization.
About the Role:
- Ensure the multi-site business complies with corporate and legal HSE requirements.
- Drive a positive and constructive HSE culture throughout the business.
- Deliver Continuous Improvement in HSE standards and practices.
- Manage the HSE function at a manufacturing site, including interaction with enforcement bodies and authorities.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of GMP/hygiene standards and ensure compliance.
Requirements:
- Experience as a SHE Manager from a FMCG manufacturing, food manufacturing, or logistics business.
- NEBOSH General certificate with aspirations to achieve or on course to achieve NEBOSH LEVEL 6 Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health.
- Proven track record of delivering HSE improvements and managing the HSE function at a manufacturing site.
- Advanced Food Hygiene Certificate and a good understanding of GMP/hygiene standards.
- Strong communication skills, verbal, presentation skills, and written.
