Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety, and Environment (SHE) Manager to join our team at Focus Management Consultants. As an SHE Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and maintenance of health, safety, and environmental policies, standards, and procedures across our multi-site food manufacturing business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective SHE strategies to ensure compliance with corporate and legal requirements.
- Drive a positive and constructive SHE culture throughout the business, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of SHE performance, including incident reports, audits, and training records.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate SHE risks, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Develop and deliver training programs to ensure employees are aware of and understand SHE policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with SHE standards and regulations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an SHE Manager in a food manufacturing or FMCG business.
- NEBOSH General certificate, with aspirations to achieve or on course to achieve NEBOSH LEVEL 6 Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health.
- Proven track record of delivering SHE improvements and managing the SHE function at a manufacturing site.
- Experience of interaction with enforcement bodies and authorities.
- Advanced Food Hygiene Certificate and a good understanding of GMP/hygiene standards.
- Strong communication skills, verbal, presentation skills, and written.
