Job Title: Safety, Security, Health and Environmental Manager

Cpl Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety, Security, Health and Environmental Manager to champion our Environmental Management System and ensure that our workplace practices prioritize environmental sustainability and comprehensive reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Environmental Management: Implement and maintain effective environmental protocols, fostering a culture of environmental awareness and compliance across the organization.
  2. Health and Safety: Support health and safety initiatives, promote overall well-being for all individuals, and help ensure business continuity.
  3. Regulatory Compliance: Monitor, evaluate, and review SHE policy and practice, making recommendations and implementing new policies and procedures suitable to comply with ISO standards.
  4. Environmental Reporting: Drive environmental initiatives and ensure accurate and timely environmental reporting.
  5. Risk Management: Assess existing and emerging SHE risks to protect the environment, employees, customers, and the organization.
  6. Culture Development: Cultivate a culture of environmental awareness and compliance across the organization.
  7. Performance Monitoring: Monitor and assess environmental performance, striving for continuous improvement.
  8. System Management: Manage the Environmental and Safety Management Systems (ISO 45001 and 14001).
  9. Training and Development: Identify and address employee training needs, delivering appropriate training as required.
  10. Statutory Reporting: Manage the statutory environmental reporting to comply with Environmental regulations such as WEEE, EPA, and SECR Report.
  11. Carbon Footprint: Measure emissions to develop and implement a comprehensive carbon footprint plan, aiming to reduce the organization's overall carbon footprint and achieve sustainability goals.
  12. Quarterly Updates: Produce quarterly updates on SHE performance for management review.
Requirements:
  1. Qualifications: Environment Management Certification essential (e.g. NEBOSH, IEMA).
  2. Experience: Extensive experience in SHE roles, preferably within the medical or healthcare industry.
  3. Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental legislative frameworks across Europe and the UK.
  4. Skills: Exceptional executive-level communication skills, with the ability to deliver impactful presentations on complex topics to leaders and stakeholders.
