SHES Management Specialist

Murphy is seeking a SHES Management Specialist to assist with the implementation of Group SHES Management Systems and provide SHES advice and support to employees across the CP6 NW & Central framework, based at our Golborne Office. This role is part time, working 20 hours per week.

About the Role

  • Establish and promote best practice in safety, health, environmental, and sustainability (SHES) matters in conjunction with the SHES department.
  • Assist the SHESQ team when providing advice and creating awareness information and support Managers and Supervisors to discharge their responsibilities for the SHES of employees and others to whom they have a duty as defined by Legislation and Company Procedures.
  • Support site SHESQ teams to ensure compliance with all requirements stipulated in the Construction SHESQ Plans.
  • Assist the SHESQ team in carrying out regular inspections of sites and work places to determine whether work is being carried out in accordance with Company Policy, Procedures and the relevant Statutory Provisions.
  • Collate Business Unit / Contract SHESQ statistics in a timely manner and submit to the SHESQ team & SHESQ Department for reporting purposes.
