About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Credit and Retention Manager to join our team at Vodafone UK. As a key member of our Consumer team, you will play a critical role in driving customer loyalty and reducing churn across our customer base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive churn reduction strategy, leveraging data analysis and commercial insights to identify areas of opportunity and drive business growth.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including credit reference agencies, fraud teams, and customer service, to ensure seamless customer onboarding and retention processes.
  • Collaborate with the wider Talkmobile team to identify and implement best practices in customer retention, driving business outcomes and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain accurate business cases to prioritize commercial opportunities and drive the biggest improvements in customer retention.
  • Provide regular forecasting and reporting on key KPIs, ensuring data-driven decision making and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in credit and retention management, with a strong understanding of customer lifecycle and churn drivers.
  • Extensive commercial experience in mobile telecoms or home broadband, with a track record of delivering business growth and customer retention.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into operational action plans and drive business outcomes.
  • Excellent relationship building and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior management and external vendors.
  • Highly competent in using SQL and other data analysis tools, with the ability to extract insights and drive business decisions.
